Description: I created a picture of the sun, grass, and waves. I like to be outside, so that is why I drew this picture. How I thought to do this was I like nature and I like to draw with oil pastels. With pastels, you can blend and smudge colors. I took a sponge and held it with my hand and I pressed hard on the paper and moved it side to side. I enjoyed drawing this picture because using pastels is very smooth. In my picture, I drew a sky and I drew leaves blowing in the wind. Towards the bottom of the picture, I had waves. In the waves, there were whale tails sticking out and slightly above the sun, I drew a few purple butterflies. My favorite part about this drawing is that I came up with drawing the grass in the front of the picture with all different shades of green. To the right of my picture, I had some green grass with roses scattered all around in it. On the side of my picture, I also drew two small trees. By the trees, I had some birds with very long feathers. I really enjoyed how I drew a thin stream sort of in the middle of my picture. I like how it looks so smooth and how I drew outlines around it so that I could really see where it is. To the right of the stream, I drew a few oranges. The oranges are falling from a tree. The tree reminds me of the orange tree in my backyard. The skins of oranges are always really thick, so I like to make the oranges look very round and thick, just like real oranges. I also had a bunny in my picture. It’s one of the only animals I have in my picture, and I like it because it’s eating a small carrot and has its eyes closed very tightly. I hope you like my picture.
