Endeavor Schools Partners with Emergency Preparedness Professionals

MIAMI, FL – In an effort to enhance the safety of its schools, Endeavor has partnered with Secure Education Consultants (SEC) to create customized emergency preparedness plans for all schools in the Endeavor family.

SEC specializes in designing and training staff on an emergency and critical incident response plans for schools and child care centers. After a thorough site assessment, SEC provides a comprehensive plan of how to respond in critical and emergency situations. SEC provides hands-on, interactive training to all staff members to prepare them to execute their customized plan in such events, which includes walk-through exercises, demonstrations and scenario training.

SEC’s program and training were created by current and former SWAT officers, United States Secret Service and Homeland Security agents, Navy SEALs, U.S. Special Forces, hostage negotiators, police officers, deputy sheriffs and other highly trained, experienced personnel.

Though such emergency and critical situations are unlikely to occur, it’s imperative our schools are prepared nonetheless. A recent report found that 17 states don’t require evacuation plans in day care centers. The report also found that numerous other states don’t require specific plans for reuniting children with their parents after an emergency.
