Endeavor Schools Acquires Bergamo Montessori Schools in Sacramento, CA

Endeavor Schools is thrilled to announce the acquisition of Bergamo Montessori Schools, a cherished institution in central California renowned for its commitment to Montessori education.

Established in 1975 in Woodland, California, Bergamo Montessori School was founded by Pam Lynn to bring the Montessori method of teaching to families in the Sacramento area. As one of the first Montessori schools in California, Bergamo Montessori School quickly became a vital part of the Sacramento early childhood education community, which it has now served for over four decades.

Today, Bergamo Montessori School has four campuses: two in Sacramento, one in El Dorado, and the original Woodland Hills campus. The school serves nearly 400 students with full-time programs for children up to 6th grade.

Endeavor Schools’ acquisition of Bergamo Montessori Schools will ensure that the school will continue to provide high-quality programs to Sacramento area families and support the excellent educators who have made it successful.

“We are thrilled to welcome Bergamo Montessori Schools to the Endeavor family,” said Ricardo Campo, the CEO of Endeavor Schools. “This acquisition will bring new opportunities and resources to the students, enhancing their learning experience and ensuring their continued growth and development.”

By acquiring Bergamo Montessori Schools, Endeavor Schools continues to show its commitment to supporting Montessori education across the United States. Of its 114 schools nationwide, nearly half offer Montessori programs.

“Bergamo Montessori Schools has a wonderful reputation for providing an authentic Montessori education that builds confidence and inspires curiosity,” said Jana Morgan Herman, the Director of Montessori Education at Endeavor Schools. “We look forward to working with the Bergamo team to provide support and resources so they can continue doing great work.”

With the addition of Bergamo Montessori Schools, Endeavor Schools is closing a successful year in which it announced the acquisition of 13 schools in four states, expanding its presence in California, Colorado, Florida, and Maryland.

“We are thrilled to welcome these 13 exceptional schools into our growing family,” said Jason Mauricio, the Chief Development Officer at Endeavor Schools. “Each school has a unique legacy of nurturing the children we serve, and we are committed to upholding and enhancing their commitment to excellence. Together, we will continue to support these schools’ inspiring learning environments, high-quality early education, expand our educators’ opportunities, and double down on our collective commitment to the highest health and safety standards, so that our students and teachers will continue to thrive.”

As it has done since its founding in 2012, Endeavor Schools continues to support teachers, students and communities across the country by providing high-quality education programs that ensure young learners have the opportunity to thrive.
