Description: The contraption that I made can be considered a mini potato cannon, which can fire a QTIP or anything that you can manage to stuff in the barrel at an extreme speed. It works by having an ignitor, in this case a barbecue ignitor that creates a spark in the chamber. The chamber holds a flammable liquid or gas, for me I used a substance call Scotchgard meant to protect fabric. Then when you activate the trigger mechanism the spark comes in contact with the flammable vapor, it creates a minute flame that can send any projectile flying that you put on the receiving end of the barrel. The process of making this invention took probably two hours, but that is excluding the numerous hours I spent experimenting with it trying to get to work. I decided to share this entry because I find it cool and I hope that it can inspire another person in quarantine to test their limits in this innovative world. I also hope that my contraption may bring viewers a smile.
